Lucie MOIRIGNOT
Lucie Moirignot is a graduate of University Paris-Panthéon-Assas and Sciences Po Law School. She practiced as a dispute resolution lawyer at the Paris Bar for several years, first at a Magic Circle firm and then at a well-known French litigation boutique. As external counsel, she advised clients in a wide range of litigation matters (white collar crime, commercial and financial litigation, enforcement etc.) and appeared regularly before French courts. She joined Natixis CIB as litigation counsel in 2021. As part of her duties, she manages a range of litigation matters for the bank, including commercial, regulatory and criminal litigation both in France and abroad.
Over the years, Lucie had the opportunity to work on several complex multijurisdictional cases which required a keen understanding of the legal and practical risks specific to each jurisdiction in order to design a global defence strategy, including at the enforcement stage. Those experiences also allowed her to develop a strong expertise on the French Blocking Statute – which has become an increasingly relevant argument in the context of discovery/disclosure proceedings – and on international cooperation mechanisms
