Manuel TOMAS
Manuel Tomas is a partner in Fidal's Paris office and heads its arbitration practice.
Manuel advises and represents states, public entities and multinationals in their most complex international disputes.
He has nearly 15 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation and international arbitration, both ad hoc and institutional (ICC, SCC, CMAP, CCJA, ICSID, UNCITRAL, etc.). He also appears before local courts in the OHADA area and, more generally, handles many cases with an African nexus.
Manuel has extensive experience in commercial and contractual disputes and has developed particular expertise in cases involving banking, mining, rail and aviation law, as well as energy, digital services, petrochemicals, telecommunications and joint ventures.
Manuel also has particular expertise in litigation relating to arbitration (exequatur, annulment, seizure of assets, etc.), the service of judicial and extra-judicial documents abroad and the enforcement of foreign judgments in France.
