Mark KANTOR
Mark Kantor is an arbitrator in international investment and commercial disputes, based in Washington, DC. Mark is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center, where he teaches courses in international arbitration and international business. He is Editor-in-Chief of the online journal Transnational Dispute Management, as well as a member of the Editorial Board of Global Arbitration Review. Mark is a prolific author on international arbitration, including on the subjects of political risk insurance & investment treaty protection, and valuation & damages. His many arbitral appointments include matters involving claims under political risk insurance policies. Mark was a member of the Board of Directors and then the Council of the American Arbitration Association, and a Chartered Arbitrator of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California, the University of Michigan Institute for Public Policy Studies, and the University of Michigan Law School.
