Ruslan MIRZAYEV


Head of Education and Training

Ruslan is the Head of Education and Training at the ICC International Court of Arbitration based in Paris, France. At ICC he is responsible for developing and implementing the capacity building strategy in arbitration and ADR globally.

Ruslan is also an attorney qualified in the State of New York and Azerbaijan, with around 15 years of experience in the practice, policy consulting and teaching in international arbitration and ADR. He is recognized by Legal 500, UK’s leading ranking publication, as one of the leading arbitration practitioners in the CIS and Caucasus Region (International Arbitration Powerlist 2020).

Ruslan Mirzayev has also been engaged as a mediator by the Compliance Advisor Office, an independent accountability mechanism of the World Bank Group, Asian Development Bank and by UN (the Office of the Ombudsman for United Nations Funds and Programmes).

Ruslan Mirzayev is the scientific expert on online ADR of the Working Group on Cyber Justice at CEPEJ (Council of Europe). He has acted as a senior and lead expert on mediation and arbitration under the projects financed by the World Bank and European Union.
