Sami Houerbi, founding Partner of Houerbi Law Firm, is a recognized international arbitrator with over 25 years of experience in international arbitration. Throughout his career, he has served both as an arbitrator and counsel in numerous ad hoc and institutional arbitrations under various institutions such as the ICC, the Swiss Chamber, the DIS, the DIAC, the ACIC and the CRCICA...

In addition to his legal practice, Sami Houerbi has held significant roles within the ICC. From 1999 to 2005, he was part of the German speaking team at the Secretariat of the ICC Court of Arbitration. From 2006 to 2021, he was the Director of the ICC DRS Services for the Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa.

As of 2024, he serves as ICC Court Member.

In 2022, he founded Ifriqya Arbitration Forum, the first platform for Arbitration and ADR practitioners in North Africa. Through this forum, Sami Houerbi aims, among other things, to foster the emergence of new players in arbitration and ADR and increase the visibility of the arbitration and ADR community in North Africa.
