Shanelle IRANI

Shanelle Irani is a counsel in the Litigation/Controversy Department, and is a member of the International Arbitration Practice Group. Ms. Irani has represented clients in arbitrations under a variety of institutional rules (including ICC, LCIA, SIAC and DIAC rules) and in ad hoc arbitrations seated in various jurisdictions across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. She has particular experience in M&A, joint venture, intellectual property, mining and construction disputes. She also has particular expertise in India-related disputes.

Ms. Irani is on the Board of Directors of ArbiralWomen, the leading international organization for women in alternative dispute resolution. She is also a member of the steering committee of Indian Women in International Arbitration and a member of the Steering Committee of the Young IAMC of the International Arbitration & Mediation Centre (IAMC), Hyderabad. Additionally, Ms. Irani serves as an assistant editor for the Journal of International Arbitration and the Indian Review of International Arbitration.
