Sophie LEMAIRE


Professor

Sophie Lemaire is a Professor of Law at Paris-Dauphine University. She specializes in international private law and international trade law - and more specifically, international arbitration law - and it is in these areas that she devotes most of her teaching and research activity. Since her PhD thesis on "Les contrats internationaux de l'Administration" (Bibliothèque des thèses, LGDJ, 2005), she has also focused on investment arbitration, a field in which she has published numerous articles, and since 2013 she has edited an annual column in the Revue d'Arbitrage devoted to "Arbitral awards in investment arbitration". At Paris-Dauphine University, of which she has been a director since 2016, Professor Sophie Lemaire is co-director of the Master of European Law in International Business and of the Centre de recherche droit Dauphine. Lastly, she is a member of various learned associations, including the CFA, whose board she joined in 2016.
