IN PERSON BY REQUEST IN PERSON BY REQUEST #Commercial arbitration

Presentation

After a crazy night out on the PAW Arbitration Cruise, join us for a forward-looking session on what’s to come in international arbitration across three hot topics in a series of 30-minute discussions interspersed with 10-minute Q&A intermissions.

• International Arbitration and ESG

Julie Spinelli (Partner, Le 16 Law), Lydia Méziani (General Counsel, Nestlé), and Anne-Claire Hans (Partner, Le 16 Law) will examine ESG’s growing presence in dispute resolution due to the increased scrutiny on corporations to comply with ESG demands, and explore how to deal with these disputes when they arise and whether arbitration is the right forum to resolve them.

• International Arbitration and Ethics

Julie Spinelli (Partner, Le 16 Law), John McElroy (Partner, Hausfeld), Ben Love (Partner, Boies Schiller Flexner), and Maximin de Fontmichel (Professor, Fontmichel Arbitration Resolution) will unpack the critical role of ethics, including anti-corruption and anti-money laundering policies, in shaping arbitration proceedings and enforcement of arbitral awards.

• International Arbitration and AI

Carl Szymura (Associate, Le 16 Law), Benoit Barré (Partner, Le 16 Law), Juliette Asso (Counsel, Lalive) and Fredrik Lindmark (Deputy Counsel, ICC) will navigate the pragmatic integration of AI within arbitration. The panel will discuss the recent regulations applicable when using AI, how AI can streamline processes, the ethical considerations it raises, and what the future may hold for AI’s role in international arbitration.
