This event will feature two panels:
The first on "The Ferocious Divide: What Future for the Modernised ECT?" (14h30 to 16h00).

• Why is the modernisation process of the ECT taking place? Driving forces.
• Is the ECT incompatible with the Paris Accords/climate change goals?
• What specific provisions are at the centre of the modernisation process? (Arts. 7, 10 and 26; "covered investment").
