Presentation

Witness testimony is a core component of the arbitral process and is often integral to the Tribunal’s fact-finding exercise. But the reliability of witness evidence has come under increased scrutiny in recent years because of the degree of counsel involvement in the preparation and presentation of witness evidence, both prior to and at the hearing. In the context of international arbitration, these issues are further complicated due to the fact that different jurisdictions adopt different approaches to witness evidence and preparation. Join our speakers as they draw on their diverse jurisdictional backgrounds to discuss issues and best practices surrounding witness evidence in international arbitration.

The discussion will be moderated by Dharshini Prasad, Willkie Farr & Gallagher London / YSIAC Committee Member.
