MAISON DU BARREAU 2-4 RUE DE HARLAY
75001 PARIS
France

The Association Franco-Chinoise pour le Droit Économique (A.F.C.D.E.) - France China Association for Economic Law - was founded on 6 October 1986, with the support of the Paris Bar Assocation.

A.F.C.D.E. is unique in that it brings together French and Chinese representatives from the legal and judicial world, business and the civil service, all of whom are involved in relations between France and China.

The A.F.C.D.E. is recognised by the All China Lawyers Association (A.C.L.A.) and the China Council for the Promotion of Foreign Trade (C.C.P.I.T.) as a privileged interlocutor in view of its Franco-Chinese and Sino-European achievements.

A.F.C.D.E. maintains regular cooperation relations with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Council of State, the French Centre for Foreign Trade, the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme.

AFCDE has been recognised as an association of general interest.

AFCDE has always been present at PAW, whether to provide a number of expert auditors on arbitration issues between China and the rest of the world, or to organise a seminar on investment arbitration and China, as it did last year.
