A member of the Paris and the New York Bar, Ana focuses her practice on litigation and arbitration in various fields of commercial law, investment arbitration and international criminal law. Her experience includes inter alia: shipping, maritime law, arrest of vessels, oil pollution, arbitral and judicial procedure, investment arbitration (ICSID), commercial arbitration (ad hoc, ICC), attachment proceedings, conservatory and enforcement measures, international trade law, documentary credits, transportation, international sales, aviation, arrest of aircraft, tourism, insurance, white-collar crime, international fraud, criminal negligence, bankruptcy, criminal procedure and customs law.

She was a winner in 1993 of the eloquence contest of the Paris Bar (12 lawyers elected each year). She has wide experience in commercial and criminal procedure and litigation, having practiced litigation (including arbitration) before numerous courts.

Since 1990, she has worked in several international law firms based in Paris, before joining Richards Butler (now Reed Smith) in September 2000. Ana advises, and litigates for, inter alia, foreign investors, public companies, banks, ship owners, charterers, suppliers, P&I clubs, insurance brokers, insurers, traders, air, cruise and railway companies, sailors and trade companies.

She is Vice-President of the Scientific Committee for Arbitration of the Franco-Arab System (Center of Mediation and Arbitration of the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce).
