Daniela BAMBACI

Daniela Bambaci is a Managing Director at Berkeley Research Group and head of the firm’s Buenos Aires office.

Prior to BRG, she joined the International Arbitration practice of a global expert services and consulting firm in based in the city in 2003. She then became an affiliate of an economic consulting company in 2010 when she moved to Beijing, China; and was located in the firm’s Houston’s office between 2015 and 2018. She has been involved in over twenty-five international arbitration treaty and commercial cases, including various prominent arbitrations involving treaty claims against Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Kenya, Hungary, Senegal, Trinidad & Tobago, the US, and Venezuela. Her work has spanned industries from natural resources to hospitality, including: natural gas production and transportation, renewable energy, oil production, airport concessions, the hospitality industry, water and sewerage services, electricity production, and distribution and forestry.

She has provided expert evidence on issues including from tariff-setting in utilities, valuation and cost of capital issues, and lost profits and damages. Her work in arbitration cases has included matters under ICSID and UNCITRAL.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Bambaci worked at the Transfer Pricing Department of a Big Four accounting firm in Buenos Aires.
