Guillermo SALCEDO SALAS

Guillermo Salcedo Salas is Partner and Head of the Dispute Resolution Practice at Salas y Asociados Abogados in Bogotá. His practice focuses on international commercial and investment arbitration.

He has more than 15 years of experience across the full spectrum of complex dispute resolution. He has advised and represented States, public entities, state-owned companies, and private clients in more than forty international arbitrations conducted under ICC, ICSID, ICSID Additional Facility, UNCITRAL, and other institutional and ad hoc rules.

His sectoral experience includes infrastructure and construction, oil & gas, maritime and port disputes, renewable energy, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. He has also acted as secretary to arbitral tribunals and maintains an active practice as arbitrator.

Guillermo is admitted in Colombia and to the Paris Bar (currently voluntarily inactive). He works in Spanish, English, and French, and regularly participates in hearings in these languages. He is a Board Member of the Colombian Maritime Law Association (ACOLDEMAR) and a member of ICCA, ICC Colombia, and CEIA.
