Mark MCNEILL

Mark McNeill is a Partner and Head of International Arbitration practice at Quinn Emanuel, New York. For over two decades he has acted as advocate in numerous high-value, complex commercial and investment treaty arbitrations under the auspices of all the major arbitration institutions and rules. Mark’s experience spans various subject matters, including oil & gas, joint ventures, post-M&A disputes, construction contracts, pharmaceuticals, intellectual property, technology, nuclear power, taxation, mining & metals, telecommunications, insurance and global enforcement of arbitration awards.

Mark previously worked in the Office of the Legal Adviser of the U.S. Department of State where he represented the United States in investor-State arbitrations submitted under the NAFTA and participated in the drafting of US investment treaties. For the past 10 years, Mark has lectured on international investment arbitration at Sciences Po Law School in Paris.
