Mikaël SCHINAZI

Mikaël Schinazi is a senior associate at Jones Day in Paris, where he advises and represents companies, sovereign States, and State-owned entities in high-stakes international disputes, with a practice focused on international arbitration and public international law. Trained in both common law and civil law traditions, he has practiced at leading U.S. and European law firms and has acted in a wide range of commercial and investment treaty arbitrations across multiple industries.

A frequent speaker and lecturer, Mikaël is the author of The Three Ages of International Commercial Arbitration (Cambridge University Press, 2021), a monograph on the modern history and evolution of international arbitration, and he has taught since 2016 at Sciences Po Law School in Paris. In 2025, he was appointed to the editorial board of the ICC International Dispute Resolution Bulletin.
