Remy Gerbay (LL.M., Ph.D.) is a founding partner and Co-Head of Arbitration at Hexagon Advocates, where he represents sovereigns, multinational corporations, and high-net-worth individuals in major international disputes.

He has participated in arbitrations under all leading institutional rules (including ICC, LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL, SIAC, AAA/ICDR, Swiss Chambers, and DIAC), and has served as arbitrator in over 30 cases, including roles as tribunal chair, sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator, and emergency arbitrator.

Remy is recognized as a thought leader in international arbitration. He holds a permanent academic appointment at Queen Mary University of London, where he co-directs a master’s program in dispute resolution.

Previously, Remy spent 20 years with top litigation firms in the U.S. and U.K., most recently as an equity partner and Head of Investment Arbitration at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP. He also served as Deputy Registrar of the LCIA and Registrar of the DIFC-LCIA in Dubai, overseeing hundreds of arbitrations, and earlier worked at the United Nations in Geneva.
