Ruchdi MAALOUF

Ruchdi Maalouf is an international arbitrator with extensive experience in natural resources, energy, commodities and infrastructure.

He started his first legal role was as the assistant of Professor Ibrahim Fadlallah in 2001. He later pursued a legal and then commercial career in oil & gas culminating in an executive appointment in an LNG company. Since 2023, he is dedicated to a career as an arbitrator.

A dual French and Lebanese national, he is civil law and common law educated and qualified in England & Wales and Ireland.

Ruchdi Maalouf is on the panel of several arbitral institutions in Europe, the Middle-East and Asia. He is also a member of LNG.now, a collective of independent LNG professionals covering the whole spectrum of the LNG industry.

Ruchdi Maalouf est un arbitre international avec une grande expérience dans les secteurs des ressources naturelles, de l’énergie, des matières premières et des infrastructures.

Il a commencé sa carrière comme assistant du professeur Ibrahim Fadlallah en 2001. Il s'est ensuite spécialisé dans les domaines du pétrole et du gaz, alternant postes juridiques et commerciaux, carrière qu'il a conclue après un poste de direction dans une entreprise de GNL. Depuis 2023, il se consacre entièrement à une activité d’arbitre.

De nationalités française et libanaise, après une formation et une expérience de civiliste, il s'est qualifié comme solicitor en Angleterre et Pays‑de‑Galles, ainsi qu’en Irlande.

Ruchdi Maalouf est sur le panel de plusieurs institutions arbitrales en Europe, au Moyen-Orient et en Asie. Il est également membre de LNG.now, un collectif de spécialistes indépendants avec une expertise couvrant l’intégralité de l’industrie du GNL.
