Antonin SOBEK

Antonin Sobek is an associate at Mayer Brown in Dubai, focusing on international commercial and investment arbitration. He has experience representing multinationals, States and State-owned entities in high-stakes disputes across various industries, including construction and engineering, energy and aviation.

Before joining Mayer Brown in 2023, Antonin served as a Counsel at the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) and the DIFC-LCIA Arbitration Centre, administering over 500 arbitration and mediation proceedings. Additionally, he practiced international arbitration at leading international law firms in London and Paris.

Antonin has lectured on dispute resolution at various institutions, including Sciences Po in Paris, Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi, and İzmir University of Economics in Turkey. He co-chairs Dubai Very Young Arbitration Practitioners and is an assistant editor at Kluwer Arbitration Blog.

He is a member of the Paris Bar and speaks French, English, Spanish, and Czech.
