Catherine SCHROEDER
Catherine Schroeder is the founding partner of Schroeder Arbitration that was launched in January 2021. Previously, she worked for more than 15 years in an arbitration boutique where she acted as counsel, secretary to arbitral tribunals and arbitrator. Since the creation of her firm, Catherine mainly acts as an arbitrator.
Her experience covers both ad hoc or institutional arbitrations (ICC, CMAP, LAC) and she deals with disputes arising out of commercial and corporate matters in general (joint-venture agreements, distribution, licensing, sales). Her sector also covers energy, intellectual property, hospitality, and construction. Catherine has also experience in expedited proceedings and emergency arbitrations.
Catherine regularly speaks in conferences on arbitration issues and is a member of several professional groups (ICC Institute, AFA, CFA, ASA, Cepani). She is a member of the Arbitration Week Committee since July 2023.
She is a sport enthusiast (although she hated it when she was younger!) and has as a strong objective to lower her golf handicap.
