Christopher CAMPBELL-HOLT


Registrar and Chief Executive of the AIFC Court and IAC

Christopher Campbell-Holt is the Registrar and Chief Executive of the AIFC Court and IAC. He is also the Enforcement Judge of the AIFC Court. He managed the establishment of the AIFC Court and IAC from initial concept to recognised premier international dispute resolution institutions in Eurasia. He has more than 20 years international legal experience in the UK, US, Middle East and Central Asia. He was the Registrar at an international financial centre commercial court and alternative dispute resolution centre in Qatar under the Presidency of The Rt. Hon. The Lord Woolf CH, former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales. He previously worked at leading international law firms including Norton Rose Fulbright LLP.
He has advised many countries at the highest political level on new financial centre and common law and dispute resolution institutions development and in this regard he is an Expert Member of international advisory committees including at the Council of Europe, Asia Development Bank, and the Supreme Court of the People’s Republic of China Expert Committee on International Commercial Litigation and Diversified Dispute Resolution. He holds two Adjunct Professor posts and is a member of numerous boards of trustees and governors. He is a New York qualified attorney, CEDR accredited Mediator, and CIArb Member. He has been awarded numerous honours, including The Order of Friendship (Dostyq ordeni) by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2022, the highest level state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan that can be awarded to non-Kazakh citizens.
