Elsa PAPAREMBORDE
Elsa Paparemborde is a Senior Associate at Bredin Prat. Her practice focuses on commercial and investment arbitration matters. She acts as counsel in large-scale and complex proceedings under all major arbitration rules (including in particular ICSID, ICC and LCIA) and in various industries, with a strong focus on energy, construction and general commercial or regulatory matters, in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Elsa also lectured on dispute resolution at Sciences Po from 2019 to 2021 and was a coach for the Sciences Po Vis Moot Team and organizing committee member of the Concours d’Arbitrage International de Paris (CAIP) from 2018 to 2020. She has published articles on the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in civil and common law jurisdictions and on the WTO dispute settlement system. She became a board member of the Paris Arbitration Week in 2022.
A literal fish in water, Elsa would swim with her son every day if she could and loves nothing more than to snorkel at her favorite Corsican spots. Unrelatedly but importantly, she also is a “cat person” and proud parent to a Montreal streetcat who has followed along every adventure for the last 11 years.
