Gaëlle LE QUILLEC
Gaëlle specialises, for more than 20 years, in international commercial arbitration and investment treaty arbitration with a vast experience of complex arbitrations spanning across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Gaëlle’s special focus is on the aviation, defence, energy, construction, leisure, transport, and hospitality sectors. She also advises on investment treaty arbitration proceedings and commercial litigation, including disputes relating to commercial contracts, supply chain, sellers’ guarantees, and post-M&A litigation.
Gaëlle has significant experience as counsel in numerous international arbitrations under the rules of the most prominent arbitral institutions. and is regularly appointed as President or co-arbitrator in international disputes. She is the former President of Paris Place d’Arbitrage, and a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, and the ICC Task Force on Arbitration of Climate Change Related Disputes.
Gaëlle is regularly recognised in several directories including The Legal 500 in their Arbitration Powerlist, Who’s Who Legal, Best Lawyers and Décideurs Leaders League.
She has joined HFW in May 2024 to support and develop the growing Arbitration practice.
Gaëlle is dual-qualified in Paris and New York and is a former Member of the Paris Bar Council.
Gaëlle is fluent in French and English.
