Gonzalo FERNANDEZ
Gonzalo Fernández is a partner of Carey and co-head of the firm’s litigation group. He has over 30 years of experience advising on litigation, national and international arbitration, corporate law, securities, and business law.
Gonzalo has vast experience representing relevant players from Chile and overseas of diverse industries such as energy, mining, real estate, banking and finance, among others.
Gonzalo has been recognized as a leading lawyer, being widely published in arbitration matters. He is also president of the Chilean chapter of the Spanish Arbitration Club, a member of the panel of arbitrators of the Shanghai Arbitration Commission and of the Arbitration Center of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, a member of the International Court of Arbitration, and a member of the panel for dispute resolution at Mercosur (appointed by the Government of Chile).
