Habibatou specialises in International Business Law and African Law relating to investments. She is an attorney at law at the Paris Bar for more than 25 years.

She practised in United States, France and in Senegal.

Habibatou has gained substantial experience relating to energy, mining and oil and gas fields, international contracts in Senegal, Mali, Mauritania and various African countries. She currently has her own practice in Senegal, including commercial dispute (mediation or arbitration) and the one related to State contracts (projects natural resources (mining, oil and gas, energy). She is a MCIARB, panel member in ICC, KIAC, OHADA Arbitration and dispute boards. Habibatou is involved in projects financing, international contracts, banking and financing laws of West African Economic and Monetary Union States members (UEMOA), corporate law, securities and OHADA legislation.

Habibatou is fluent in French and English.
