Sabrina ROBERT

Sabrina Robert is Professor of International Law at Le Mans University. She is the director of the Themis-UM Research Center and associated member of the Institute of Research in International and European Law of the Sorbonne Law School. She is a member of the French Branch of the International Law Association, of the Société française pour le droit international and of the Société française pour le droit de l’environnement.

She is specialized in international economic law and in environmental law. She has published and lectured extensively in the areas of international investment law, international trade law and on the subject of the interaction between both and environmental law. In 2017, she was a member of the Commission of experts, nominated by the French Prime Minister, in order to evaluate the impact of CETA on environment and climate. In recent years, she has worked extensively on climate law and the contribution of investment and trade law to the environmental transition.

Sabrina completed her PhD. at the Sorbonne Law School in 2008 and a Postgraduate Diploma (Master) in International Law and International Organizations in 2002 at Paris. She has gained practical experience in international investment arbitration, assisting ICSID arbitrator during many years.
