Sarra SAÏDI
Sarra Saïdi is an attorney admitted to the Paris Bar and a Barrister & Solicitor member of the Law Society of Ontario. She is an associate at the Paris office of K&L Gates, where she focuses on commercial litigation and international arbitration, advising French and international companies on pre-litigation and litigation matters across various industries. She also specializes in sports law in Canada and France, covering various topics such as non-selection, doping, and non-accidental violence.
As part of her pro bono work, Sarra Saïdi represents sports participants before the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada and serves as a specialized legal advisor for the Abuse-Free Sport Legal Aid Program, supporting the Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner.
She is a member of several independent disciplinary bodies within sports federations, addressing safe sport issues, including World Sailing Safeguarding Disciplinary Tribunal and the Special Committee on Gender-Based and Sexual Violence, Harassment, and Discrimination at the French Baseball and Softball Federation.
Additionally, she serves on the appeal disciplinary commission of the French Athletics Federation and the French Triathlon Federation. She is also a member of the Alpine Independent Supervisory Board of Alpine Canada, which is empowered to adjudicate major infractions.
