Presentation

Global capital is moving fast, and what is considered safe or bankable in cross-border transactions is changing. Shifts in geopolitics, financing conditions, sanctions regimes, and supply chains are reshaping where investment flows, how risk is allocated, and how cross-border relationships are structured.

This panel will take a step back and look at the broader picture. Bringing together arbitration practitioners and voices beyond the legal field, including geopolitics and global finance, the discussion will explore how changes in global capital allocation are likely to influence the nature, timing, and geography of international disputes, across both commercial and investment contexts.

Designed as a discussion rather than a series of prepared speeches, the panel aims to share experience, challenge assumptions, and test predictions. By connecting macro-level developments in geopolitics and capital allocation with on-the-ground dispute dynamics, the session will offer a forward-looking view of where international disputes are coming from and where they are likely to go next.

Light catering will be provided.
