Paris, November 18, 2025
For its 10th edition, Paris Arbitration Week (PAW) marks its evolution into an established institution with a new visual identity and the launch of the PAW Fellowship, a pioneering initiative to support emerging arbitration talent worldwide.
PAW announces a comprehensive rebranding that reflects its journey from an ambitious annual event to a leading institution in the world of international arbitration.
Alongside its new identity, PAW announces the launch of the PAW Fellowship, a pioneering programme designed to broaden access to international arbitration by mentoring and funding promising practitioners from jurisdictions where arbitration is still emerging.
A new identity for a new era
The new PAW emblem draws its inspiration from the iconic view beneath the Eiffel Tower, revealing the hidden architectural genius beneath Paris’s most recognizable symbol. Just as the tower’s iron structure creates strength through the interconnection of its elements, PAW has built its reputation by weaving connections within the global arbitration community.
The distinctive design of the emblem embodies PAW’s DNA:
- the four outer corners represent its foundational pillars: Learning, Sharing, Celebrating, Together;
- the four inner angles embody its core values: rule of law, diversity and inclusion, innovation, sustainability;
- and the central square symbolizes “Connecting the world of arbitration”, the heart of PAW’s mission: uniting practitioners, academics, and arbitration institutions from around the world.
This rebranding marks a visual evolution and the recognition of PAW as an established institution in the arbitration landscape.
Launch of the PAW Fellowship
The PAW Fellowship offers selected candidates a comprehensive pathway into international arbitration through three key stages:
- Before PAW: introductory webinars on international arbitration taught by PAW Board members and sponsor firms
- During PAW: full participation in Paris Arbitration Week, with access to all official events
- After PAW: shadowing placement with a partner firm or PAW Board member in Paris
Selected PAW Fellows will receive €3,000 in funding to cover travel and accommodation expenses, enabling talented practitioners who would otherwise be unable to attend to gain valuable first-hand experience at the heart of the ecosystem.
The programme is open to legal professionals with at least three years of experience in dispute resolution broadly defined, based in Asia or Africa. Applications are open until December 31, 2025, with selections to be announced by mid-January 2026.

A decade of growth
PAW’s evolution reflects its remarkable trajectory over the past ten years. The 2025 edition saw record-breaking participation, 253 partners, and more than 230 events. This growth demonstrates PAW’s central role in the global arbitration community.
Diamana Diawara and Catherine Schroeder, co-presidents of the PAW Board, comment: “As we approach PAW’s 10th edition, this rebranding and the launch of the PAW Fellowship represent our commitment to both excellence and accessibility. Our new identity honours the journey we’ve taken together, while the Fellowship ensures that the future of international arbitration is truly global and inclusive. We are building not just an event, but a lasting institution that serves the entire arbitration community.”
The 10th edition of Paris Arbitration Week will take place from March 23 to 27, 2026.
