CIETAC Hong Kong Arbitration Center

CIETAC is the earliest and largest international arbitral institution established in China with headquarters in Beijing. In its over 65 years of history, CIETAC has resolved more than 55,000 disputes by means of arbitration and other ADR mechanisms.

CIETAC Hong Kong Arbitration Center is the first branch of CIETAC established outside the Chinese mainland in 2012 and has been serving as a major outreach connecting point of CIETAC to the Asia-Pacific Region, including the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It has been administering arbitration cases (including emergency arbitrator procedures) since 2015, under the CIETAC Arbitration Rules and the Hong Kong Arbitration Ordinance (Cap 609).
