MIDS
Traditionally a one-year full-time graduate degree program, the Geneva LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement (MIDS) provides an opportunity for in-depth study of international dispute settlement from a broad range of perspectives, integrating the growing demand for ADR into the core of its curriculum. The program covers all current approaches to the subject matter, including private and public international law, and delves into today’s relevant fields, such as commercial and investment arbitration, mediation, WTO dispute resolution and proceedings before the ICJ. The structure of the MIDS is largely elective, offering its students sufficient latitude to pursue their specific interests in dispute settlement while acquiring indispensable knowledge in the field within set parameters.
The curriculum provides its students with the opportunity and forum to acquire not only unparalleled theoretical knowledge from professors and renowned professionals in field, but also practical legal skills highly valued in the field of international dispute settlement.
