Established in 2012, Signature Litigation is an international law firm specialising in high-stakes arbitration, litigation and regulatory investigations around the world. Across our offices in London, Paris, Frankfurt and Gibraltar, we encompass practitioners delivering the same high-quality service that they delivered in their former global elite US and magic circle law firms, but through the platform of a dedicated and flexible team of nearly 100 practitioners.
Signature has shown consistent commitment to grow its International Arbitration ("IA") practice over the past few years. Signature's core IA team now includes 9 dedicated arbitration partners who are focused exclusively on IA, as well as another 6 partners who act in both arbitration and litigation disputes.
Signature and many of its IA team members are ranked in Chambers UK 2025 Commercial Arbitration Guide and Legal 500 UK 2025 International Arbitration Guide.
We are equally versed in both, commercial arbitration and investor-state arbitration. We are focused on acting in disputes arising from specific geographic areas where we are most known for our expertise including MENA, Africa, Brazil, Eastern Europe and Central Asia (former Soviet Bloc), Central Europe.
We represent global clients, leading corporates and ultra-high net worth individuals/family businesses.
We have experience in a wide range of industry sectors with the primary focus on energy (traditional and renewables), commodities, technology, pharmaceuticals, mining, manufacturing, transport and logistics, construction, infrastructure, telecoms and financial services.
Our IA team has particular expertise in disputes arising out of shareholders and JV agreements, M&A disputes, share purchase agreements, research, development and distribution agreements.
Due to out thriving litigation practice, we are also able to leverage the experience of our litigation colleagues to undertake local court work to support the broader arbitration strategy where required.
