Laurent GOUIFFèS

Laurent Gouiffès is a dual-qualified French avocat and UK solicitor, with more than 25 years of experience in both commercial and investment arbitration. He heads Hogan Lovells' international arbitration team in Paris. Laurent focuses his practice on energy-related, technological, and investment disputes, and leads the firm's energy disputes group. He is fluent in French, English and Italian, and in addition to his significant counsel work, Laurent has seen an upsurge in appointments as arbitrator in cases before the ICC, LCIA, and Milan Chamber of Arbitration. He has extensive experience of arbitration under the rules of the ICC, LCIA, ICSID and UNCITRAL and has also acted in a number of disputes brought under the Energy Charter Treaty.
