Our International Arbitration team has continued to go from strength to strength in recent years, confirming its position as one of the foremost arbitration teams in Paris.
The group is led by Laurent Gouiffès, whose practice focuses in particular on energy, engineering, aeronautics and investment arbitration.
Partner Thomas Kendra, a native English solicitor with over fifteen years' experience in arbitration, boasts a particular focus on Africa and is involved in the life sciences, technology and telecoms sectors.
In January 2023, Melissa Ordonez became the third partner amongst the 13 fee earners of the team, bringing her particular expertise in investment arbitration, with an emphasis on the telecoms and energy sectors, and the Latin American region.
We have demonstrated our experience in arbitrations, both as counsel and as arbitrators, under all the major institutional rules (e.g. ICC, LCIA and ICSID) as well as the UNCITRAL Rules in ad hoc proceedings.
We represent a wide variety of clients and have developed a particular expertise in the energy, telecoms, aeronautics, construction and engineering industries as well as in the highly competitive field of investment arbitration acting on behalf of both States and investors.
