Martina MAGNARELLI
Martina is a Counsel at Seven Summits Arbitration (7SA), a Munich-based arbitration specialist boutique firm.
Martina has acted as counsel and administrative secretary in international arbitration proceedings under the ICC, DIS, ICDR, and Swiss Rules with seats in Paris, Zurich, Munich, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, and New York. Martina has experience in commercial and investment arbitration in a diverse range of sectors, including private equity, construction and infrastructure projects, energy and natural resources, distribution, and international sales. An Italian-qualified lawyer and a member of the Munich bar, Martina worked in five jurisdictions across Europe, including as in-house counsel, before joining 7SA in January 2019.
A graduate from LUISS Guido Carli University, Rome, Martina holds LL.M and Ph.D degrees from the University of Lausanne, with which she continues to collaborate. Martina is the author of “Privity of Contract in International Investment Arbitration: Original Sin or Useful Tool?” (Kluwer Law International 2020) and many other publications. Martina regularly speaks at international conferences on both commercial and investment arbitration and is a Co-Chair of AA40, the Italian below40 arbitration group.
