Consultant and University Professor in law, Claire Debourg specialises in international arbitration and dispute resolution.

Claire acts as a consultant in international arbitration proceedings, both ad hoc and institutional, relating in particular to the energy, defence and banking sectors, applying the laws of several jurisdictions. Her experience also includes French court proceedings involving the challenge or the enforcement of international arbitral awards.

She is currently a Professor at Université Paris Nanterre in contract and tort law, commercial law, digital law, commercial and investment arbitration, private international law and comparative law.

She is also chief editor of the Revue de l’arbitrage.

Claire holds a PhD in private law, "Conflicting decisions in international arbitration", and a postgraduate degree in European and international business litigation, both from Paris Nanterre University.
