Kshama is a Partner with Dentons Link Legal, Mumbai in the Dispute Resolution team.
Kshama is a dual qualified lawyer, admitted to practice in India and England & Wales. Kshama has extensively advised and represented Indian and foreign clients, and governments, in complex disputes involving commercial and investor-State arbitration, arbitration-related litigation, and in commercial, civil and criminal litigation. While Kshama advises clients across several sectors and domains, her key areas of specialization are energy, construction and shareholder disputes. She has also led teams and regularly acts as a lead counsel before arbitral tribunals and courts.
Prior to joining Dentons Link Legal, Kshama has worked with Nishith Desai Associates, Trilegal, ALMT Legal, Baker Botts LLP, London and with late Prof Martin Hunter in London. She started her practice in 2009 in the chambers of Justice S.V. Gangapurwala, Chief Justice of the High Court of Madras.
Kshama is actively involved in thought leadership. She regularly writes for international publications, and speaks at national and international conferences. Kshama also engages in training young lawyers in advocacy and cross-examination of witnesses. She holds leadership positions in several international arbitration organizations such as the Inter Pacific Bar Association, the American Arbitration Association’s ICDR, and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
