Tsegaye LAURENDEAU

Tsegaye is a Partner at Signature Litigation London, specialising in international arbitration.

With over 10 years’ experience of international arbitrations under various arbitration rules, Tsegaye regularly represents international corporates, States and State-owned entities in commercial and investment protection disputes arising in various parts of the globe, including North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. Tsegaye has a particular focus on joint venture, M&A, investment funds and international financing disputes in the oil and gas, energy, mining, construction and telecoms industries.

Tsegaye also has experience in the development and financing of large energy and infrastructure projects, particularly in Africa and the Middle East, having practiced in the Project Finance group of a Magic Circle firm at the start of his career. Tsegaye also sits as arbitrator and is a member of the Court and Arbitration Committee of the Lagos Court of Arbitration.
