About us

CFA40 is a below-40 offshoot of the French Arbitration Committee. CFA40 is the largest French-speaking under-40 arbitration group, with more than 400 members. It was founded in 2011 as a sub-group of the French Arbitration Committee (CFA), which has a mission to promote French international arbitration law in France and abroad. Over the past years, CFA40 organised numerous academic and social events, including, in addition to its traditional in-person dinner conferences, the Miradas Cruzadas -40 with the CEA40 Spanish under 40 group and as part of the Paris Arbitration Week, a comparative law debate with other below-40 arbitration associations, and a sustainability conference as well as a cruise on the Seine with the PAW board and PVYAP.

Its co-chairs are Agnès Bizard, Irène Léger, Sacha Willaume, Anaïs Harlé, Alexis Foucard, and Thomas Granier.
